you know what? now that im looking at it, the fucked up thing is that the new neck route has red paint in it. like fender sent the thing from the factory with both routes to begin with

That does look like a factory route. Which is weird, because that was built after mine. Mine only has the single route. The fretboard looks pretty funky though. THIS one is a sweety.

Not a bad rout at all. Makes you wonder that he seemed to avoid showing the rest, but based on what you can see, it looks pretty competent.

I've always wanted a bronco in a weird sort of way, how do they compare to duo-sonic's, mustang's, and musicmaster's?

I've always wanted a bronco in a weird sort of way, how do they compare to duo-sonic's, mustang's, and musicmaster's?
If they are from the same era, the necks and bodies are all the same. Playability should be identical. Setup wise, the Bronco is an easier guitar (provided your neck is good). You can't make individual string height adustments. The bridge is set to the 7.25" radius. All you can do is a global adjustment at either end. The pickguard with the tone and volume make it easier to make changes. You can have loaded pickguards to swap out in five minutes.
