Pedalboard Necessities
From jamming, to gigging and playing shows, there are a few things people need to have sitting around just in case something goes down, and the pedal board is a good place for it!
What are some things that you think are a "Must" to have on your pedalboard, or just with you at shows?
Here are some things that i keep on my board whenever i can:
Picks - every pick gets a differnet sound, especially if you dropped one...
Extra Patch Cables - you never know!!!
EHX Power Adaptor - see above
Capo - if needed in a song or if someone sits it
Slide - always a neat trick to pull out once in a while
Lighter - fags to slow songs
Sharpie - signing cd's that we hand out
Screw Driver - getting into pedals/guitar if needed
Pocket Knife - always useful, especially if someone jumps you
Wire cutter - cut strings
String winder - change strings QUICK
TUNER TUNER TUNER!!! - honestly, people shouldn't tune "By Ear" unless you are professionally trained at it, it gets really annoying to hear people try to tune on stage and not even get close. Get a tuner people.

is that a korg pitchblack? how do you like it? pretty accurate? bypass?
looks good. although the only gigs i've done were with my first dirt band, i just had the big muff and delay for spacy shit, i didn't have a pedalboard. i've gotten a few more pedals since then, and i think now i'll be bringing picks, and advil

My pocket knife has all the tools I really need, besides a string winder. I bring along some extra Es and Bs. Extra Cable, extra tubes and fuses. I use a capo on most songs so I can voice stuff higher and get out of the piano player's way. A modded DS-1 in the back of my amp in case I can't run my amp wide-open for some reason.
I still use a little Korg pocket tuner and tune between sets - all my guitars hold tune really well.
If it's my solo stuff, just my U1, a couple extra strings, capo, amp.

All of those things are gonna knock around and chip your pedals to pieces!
I take the following but they're all wedged in places they don't move:
Capo
Ear Plugs in Case
Plectrums
I carry a record bag with me which holds my mics, leads, extension cord for power and some other spares:
Long Nosed Pliers/Wire Cutters
Screwdriver
Strings
