well now that i actually have some money it's finally time for me to buy a saltbooster!
how i've managed to not buy one for almost a year is completely beyond me.

you still doing them finishes with a stripe on them? ideally i'd like yellow with a black stripe but tell me what paint you're got knocking about if you haven't got them and we'll go from there.

Hi mate,

Yeah I can do a stripe finish for you. I don't have black paint but I could get some..

I have (off hand):

Silver
Metallic Red
Metallic Blue
Metallic Green
Gold
Yellow
Orange

There's a chance yours may be the first with a waterslide decal on the face depending on how quick Tim and I can get the drilling guide and design together for it.
You OK with DC jack only, yeah?

I <3 Mother Earth and all that. LED colour preference from Blue, Green, Red, Yellow and Orange?

orange LED, i've got yellow blue and green, need to build my my collection.

as for the paint i'm not sure, i'll nick a saltbooster pic from somewhere, do some mockups then get back to you. DC only is fine too.

I have both that blue and a darker one too, like the Saltbooster on the last page or so?

Glad it got there Matt, that was a fun build and a half!

So glad you could do what i was asking for. The thing looks great, sounds exactly like i hoped it would, and is flat out perfect. Many thanks to you and your abilities to make my crazy idea

i have a feeling it will be there for a while!

Wicked! Good to see it on your board. I think the channel select idea worked out great. Fullbore craziness at the tap of a switch.

Yeah, when I'm home I'll dig it out and have a look at how big the circuit board would be etc. I believe it has an internal presence trimpot, would you prefer me to attempt to stuff it into a Saltbooster case (might not be possible), or to use the bigger case I use and bring the presence pot to the front of the pedal as a normal control?

Small box would be better if at all possible...not got a lot of board space at the moment!
See what you think, cheers.

It's tricky to get circuits with 3 knobs into those boxes, but I will see what I can do.

I've had a look and I should be able to do this, might have to sacrific the presence trim pot and go for a set value to do so, though. Wouldn't have space for a battery ...

I would say £70?

Battery not a problem. That sounds fine Mike.
Could you make it metallic black?
With Made by Mike decal and "Crunch Box" on the bottom of the pedal? No decals on the top?
What colour LEDs do you have? Were you going to get some of those fancy big ones?
Mustang knobs?

I can look for metallic black for sure, if they have it at Halfords I'll use it, and I could use Red for the text on the bottom so you can see it hopefully.

I have Red, Yellow, Orange, Green and Blue LEDs.

I haven't ordered any LED Bezels yet but I do have a black plastic bezel style one I could use, or a standard one. I was going to order fancy Bezels with my next parts order.
Mustang knobs are fine of course.

Nice one.
Standard LED is fine - blue please, don't worry about the bezel.
Red text sounds good :)
Let me know if the black paint is a problem.
