Post by IroniaSudby »

Hi folks. First post is already asking you guys for help, but i think you Shortscalers know best so....

I have a chance to buy a 66 RI MIJ Jaguar, but i have no idea what 66 RI Goes for.

Is it worth buying, and whats the price i should be aiming for.

a used CIJ jaguar... i'd say somewhere between $450 (bargain) and $800, aprox.

btw, those are not '66RI's unless they have bound necks with block inlays. those go from $750-1200 or so...
good luck!

Pat.

They've used the 66 code on a few different models.

Well its brand new, the man has 2 66 RI Jags and one he already sold off.

I was looking around for pictures, and this pretty much is the one he is selling me.

Got that picture at an Ebay Auction for a Jag, exact same thing he is selling.

Yeah I think all the current ones have 66 codes with added letters for B+B (marked on the heel)
