Just a straight up 50s vibe stratocaster, i love the necks on them and the pickups are quite punchy

This and some 500k pots, orange drop cap, bridge tone control, treble bleed mod, and a pull pot to turn on the bridge pickup [how a strat should be if you ask me]

Haze, are you secretly a Columbian druglord? This is just my observation, but you have a crazy huge set up, and a lot of nice guitars.
Or do you come from a good family, or are like me and half to work your ass off to buy your gear.

i counted up and the guitars are only adding up to about 1400 which isn't bad as serious peoples spend that on a gibson or whatnot
the strat is 180 with about 150 in stuffs [lace sensors, pots, switch, new guard]
duo cost me 100 from mage and has a $20 guard on it
prails tele [Sadie, as i call her] cost 320, 200 in pickups, pots, switches, and equiptment to refinish [paint, sandpaper, primer]
this tele was a trade from my Ibanez that cost 400 and i haven't spent anything on that yet

and pedals... i don't want to count up that

but no, not a druglord, or columbian. i just spend a good bit of my moneys on gear and the girlfriend and store away x% every paycheck

Ah, good deal, I work for my parents, it sounds easy, BUT FUCK NO IT'S NOT, I now know, I hate farm animals, and what they produce/what you have to give them to produce. But still, you have a nice collection.

The WRHB and Fatbody are going to be pretty misbalanced, I imagine.

Dude, I think the neck WRHB reissue is like, 8K? [?]
I used the hot '62 alnico tele bridge pickup [9.6k] with one in my tele custom project and it's a good balance. The fatbody overwound is 10k, should be alright.

As an owner of the dual-WRHB '72 Tele Deluxe reissue, I have found 500k to be the best fit. I tried 1M, but they seemed almost too bright to me. I'd say give them it whirl with the 500k pots in there first and see what you think.

Wow! 500K pots on a Strat.I think it's pretty bright like that. I'm thinking of going down to 250K on mine.

will do, might save me from getting 1 megs as i have plenty of 500ks kicking about
and i've always had 500ks in strats and never had a brightness problem, except with the lace sensor red, that thing is bleh for clean tones

yeah, anything as hot as that needs a 1meg in strat IMHO.

i just got fender vintage noiseless' in my mexistrat and i believe the toanz knobs are 1meg. i can't imagine them w/out, it's the perfect tone. sounds awesome clean, awesome dirty.
