wasn't trying to be abrasive with the "cute," i meant cute as like "hah, it's a little kurt."

i almost said earplugs, but i thought i was wrong.

You've had that SG for one of the longest periods you've kept a guitar since you started posting the revolving door of guitars.

Do you like it that much or you just haven't found the right trade/replacement.

Maybe I should paint my other guitars Rebol Yellow

i've noticed you've kept the sg the longest, any reason why? I do recall you having a Les paul and the sg but that went. Anything special about it to you?

Thanks for the posts.I think of all the guitars that I have owned that SG Standard is the the most comfortable, the easiest for me to play and it just totally rocks.I hear alot of SG's are neck-heavy and I had a 61 RI that was,but this SG Standard is perfectly balanced and very light. It has a thicker neck that the 61,but I think it is very comfortable. I really like the 498T pickup in the bridge I can get wide variety of good clean and distorted sounds from that. The 490R in the neck is ok but can sound kinda muddy sometimes.I thought about changing that pickup for something else, but I will probably just leave as is.

The SX GG1 JR I have is a really nice guitar,It is really well made,as good as the Epiphones I think. The pickups in it sound pretty close to the Seymour Duncan soapbars in the PRS I used to own. Before I bought this guitar I was GASing for Les Paul Jr but this is really close enough for me.

I forgot to show you guys the website of the store where I got the Cyclone. It is worth a peek if you have never been to Willie's American Guitars as it is quite a famous shop at least in these parts.

It's investing, your investing in a few items I wouldn't mind having....
But it's cool that you're getting the kind of recognition.

I'm with you there. I'm not crazy about the pearloid pickguards on the yellow guitars , though. plain white i think looks better.
