Plus the more the better, I want a sort of rich sound......and team that up with a bogner amp and ((drool))
YOU WILL NOT GET A RICH SOUND FROM A GUITAR YOU HAVE MADE. YOU DO NOT HAVE THE SKILLS TO MAKE A GUITAR FROM SCRATCH THAT LOOKS LIKE A JAG-STANG THAT'LL BE THE BEST GUITAR IN THE WORLD. Plus since when do RoboEMGs give a "nice sound". They're metal monsters.

You've changed your mind 1000 times in this thread already, now all you have to do is get over it and buy a different guitar.

What guitars do you have at the moment?

fuck it.

but six bottles of whisky and a chisel, go fucking nuts.

my advice: sg style horns, route through the entire body, scallop the neck, melt the knobs onto the pots and wire it up using licorice.
use batenburg cakes for pickups and make the body out of whipped cream.
glue the neck to the floor and string it up with hair.

I swear you kept going on how it had to buy a jag-stang because of the neck? Do warmoth even make double-truss rod mustang necks?

I do understand that statement. Been there. From my experience you'd be better off looking at modelling FX and a pup upgrade, there really is'nt any need to go to the lengths you are proposing.

this kid is not real. its impossible. he knows just enough about guitars to say things that irritate everybody.

i don't believe in you anymore mcconnachiea!

i advise others to do the same.

stainless steel frets??? what the fuck. i know its possible but you will break strings every day.

and a double truss rod in a fender style neck? why?? it doesn't make any god damn sense.

you are not a real person mcconnachiea. you are some troll that has come here to make a 20 page thread about
a very stupid thing.

Both of these things are perfectly sound. Stainless steel frets last longer with the disadvantage being that they are more difficult to work with when installing.

Let this kid live his dream. Fuck the haters.

Best project thread in months.

He did turn 16 two days ago, so let's not write him off just yet. Plus the fact he can't afford anything to start this project yet (even the Warmoth body he said he had bought) must mean he's saving lots and lots.

Bogner amps aren't that expensive.

I got mine £400 with 1 year warranty ex display. I love it

But its a head and I don't have a proper cab......so I'm playing it through a pair of old hi-fi speakers

That's about as cheap as you are clever. Why splash that much cash if you have no cab? Do you know what warranty is? Hi-fi speakers with an amp that expensive? That's like buying a V8 engine and using it to power your washing machine, because you have no car to put it in.
