Oh, damn. It's not going to. It's more of a slow burn than a head bang.

I dunno dude I liked the vocals - awesome guitar and ambience sondz too, really thick version of the riff and i liked how it seemed like it was played slightly differently when it kicks in somehow...different emphasis?? Don't know the technical terms.

How was this recorded? I've not had a computer set up for recording for years and need to get my arse geared up...

If i recall correctly, it was my last recording with my enormous and disappointing peavey VTM60 halfstackofdeath. Ibanez FZ-7 (i think, the silver one, where the knobs can be stuck in or popped out) and mim standard telecaster. The drums are like, the 3 good measures cut up and looped and stuff, except for the freakout, which is clearly live.

I'm pretty sure the guitars were good old fashioned sm57 stuck right up to the grill cloth, vox are some mid-level cad condenser. I recorded into Ableton live (where is did the drum and vocal FX) via my Tascam us-122. The ambient/textural pads are made via pedals and SKILLZ.

ALSO, DUDES AND DUDETTES: Apparently there has been a glitch somewhere, and some peoples copy of "The Metallurgist" is arriving tagless and being tossed into the computers library willy nilly. So er, check that out.
