jazzmaster body price

Post by sp3k »

Is 190 euros a good price for a 2007 japanese jazzmaster body? how much would a neck cost? could you give me some links to sites that sell guitar parts?
It's not possible to use a jaguar neck on it, right?

I've wanted a jazzmaster for to long, but i'm a student... Buying parts would be easier on my wallet. I don't think it woulb be hard to put a guitar together, if it already has all the holes, it's just screwing thinks right?

If you're already paying 200 euros for the neck. There is no way it will be cheaper than buying a used Japanese jazzmaster.

yeah, just save up and buy one. parts guitars like that are generally way more expensive in the long run.

Once you factor in buying parts etc a secondhand complete guitar is MUCH CHEAPER!! People sell them in parts to make more £££

Thanks for the comments, i guess i'll just have to wait, and save... maybe i should sell my tele custom deluxe, but it was my first real guitar, so i didn't really want to sell it... that asshole kevin smith had to go and show me how a tremolo bar could be used..

by the way, i might be getting a squier super sonic at a decent price, how's the tremolo on it? usable? or would it just make the guitar getting out of tune?

If you're after parts like this for a project it will often be cheaper to buy a used MIJ and sell the parts you don't want.

Not possible to put jaguar neck on jazzmaster body, it will be not good tune.
For my jazzmaster i changed the old body for a new one for 140 $, i wanted to make one complet and bought for 100 $ everything but impossible to find a good neck for a good price, i sold everything... But it is so hard to find a jazzmaster at a good price in europe... Almost the same price than brand new (on dv247 it is the lowest price in europe)
Now i am looking for a short scale or a jazzmaster for a goodprice, impossible... Everything is almost the price of brand new ones...
