sounds nasty as fuck - even nicer going into a big muff and surprisingly odd going into a blue box :)

I like danelectro, but i don't like their beliefs. Good luck w/ the french toast.

i've never once bought any guitar pedal new but i am SO TEMPTED to go to Guitar Center & start buying up Danelectro pedals brand new fresh out the box w/ printed receipt and everything. as a matter of fact, this time last year i didn't own ANY Danelectro pedals. now. becuz of all of this "feel-good-consumerism" reformist boycott absurdity, i may just start buying Danelectro pedals FOR NO GOOD REASON...

having said that. i don't see myself as needing an Octave Fuzz & i already own two other Danelectro Octave Pedals. but if i needed something like this i would buy the French Toast in a heart beat. i was going to get a DOD Punkifer last fall but this seems like a better, cheaper, practical more utilitarian alternative.

Oh you're back on that again. That's such a refined attitude you have, almost as pathetic as "I don't like that, because it's popular".

i have a pretty coarse, uncultured attitude. & yes i do tend to be averse to popular trending fads, on the whole.

i have already said i was not leaving. just merely not posting in the shortscale pub anymore.

you can call me a pathetic pussy pansy all you want. it's fine. i hope it boosts your self-esteem.

anyway. i will probably buy this pedal now. but use it for electric piano & not guitar. becuz i read on the harmony central reviews that someone ran this out thru a Fender Rhodes to interesting results.

i personally hate paying retail though. for anything...

This is searingly ironic passive aggression from someone who claims he would purchase Danelectro products out of spite because others are taking a stand against homophobia.

*golf clap*

actually i think it is rather wise. to save. & not consume. as Ben Franklin once stated, "A penny saved is a penny earned," & the the current president has already stated that america's "voracious consumption" cannot continue as it once had: so i am not against that; actually, i think this current global economic decline has been a good thing in that it has reduced consumption & corrected "over-valued" financial markets.

but alas. can we not talk about the merits or faults of this pedal. the Danelectro French Toast...
