Dressing room design

Post by othomas2 »

Started off in the dressing room... finished in photoshop. Bit rough.

A design I've been pondering on for many years... will have it built one day !!

kinda mustang meets bronco meets jag... colourwise & pickup config, based on an SG Melody maker

Ive always been a big fan of the mustang and bronco but all three mustang, bronco and jag is bound to rock.

you should use a wraparound like on a melody maker, instead of a tom. I'd help for the mojo. Maybe a rosewood board?

he'd have to ditch the jag trem though.

i like it, save for the PG. a reshaped bronco guard so it fits the bottom horn a little better might look decent.

I wouldn't want a tom... good old stang bridge is what I'd use... and black knobs perhaps. or maybe that wraparound idea is cool, which isn't wrapped around... huh... slots in there by force of the strings I presume ?

It's a enlarged stang body basically with jag upper as I find stang sized bodies too small for my liking. A volume for each pickup.

Probably regular length and not shortscale also...

Try taking the pickguard up the lower horn like a Mustang...
