reading up on it now and you can apparently use java and lisp as well as the language provided. awesome.

apology accepted, i really meant nothing insulting. i just have really high standards. plus i'm totally jealous because my girlfriend would sincerely beat my ass if i built a non-functioning amplifier out of lego's. (it's a time/maturity/financial thing)

i just see it as a blend of two hobbies, which is great!
i like to paint. i like to play guitars. i like to read about science = i like to paint flyers and science themed stuff.
no problem with that.
when your life can have no hobbies, that would suck. having hobbies isn't immature unless you're neglecting responsibilities
