Get Mike to build you an OCD instead of giving hatmongers money to peddle their FILTHY HAT.

considering it's a distortion something more like the pedal he built for thom would be more appropriate i reckon.

Well Sir Mike himself said that they were very similar. And which one are you saying is a distortion, 'cause they're both called drive and the OCD sounds like a drive to me, unless I just have wonky ears?

Ah, woah. I just noticed it says DISTORTION right there on the front. I thought it was the drive. Silly me.

Basically it's wrong to buy new Danelectro product because the Danelectro boss paid $15,000 to the campaign for Proposition 8, a bill outlawing same-sex marriages in California.

It's the Drive which is very similar to the OCD, I think the Distortion hasn't been completely reversed yet. it does sound good though, shame about the hate.

Was the distortion you made a one off Mike? I notice you don't have any distortion pedals on your site, and I can't justify getting another fuzz (I love the Big Muff just fine :D).

You mean Lamp's? Yes that was a custom build for him, a clone of an MI Audio Crunch Box.

I don't own this new red one and won't but I have the red Fab series distortion and I really like it. It's nice and crunchy and can even get fuzzy. You can also get a gated fuzz sound with a variable powersupply or mod if you're into that sort of thing.

The sort of maroon coloured Fabtone? My brother had one. Good fun, but a bit too fizzy for me.

The new one is an MI Audio Crunchbox o' sorts, I reckon. I keep the gain below 11:00 and use the volume knob to hit the amp (An old blackface Twin, at the moment), for teh more genuine drive tonez, cause it too will get fizzy if you're not careful. Still, it's not a bad heavy overdrive at all, if you're alright with the fairly compressed 80s-ish sound it produces. I got mine free with another pair of Dano Coolcats during the HCFX forum tester's giveaway from early last summer, and use it all the time. Likey.
