CIJ Jag HH dragster p/u wiring

Post by 65erSC »

I want to put the stock dragster p/u's back in a Jag HH I bought used. The guy that took them out did not lable them. They look identical except one has a black wire and one has a grey wire. Which one is the bridge? Thanks for any help.

I think you're going to need a voltmeter. Measure the resistance of each pickup, and the hotter one will likely be the bridge.

Someone else on here should be able to give you more advice about how to use a voltmeter and what exactly you are looking for.

Well for a start you'd need a multimeter to measure resistance. A volt meter measures Voltage.

Multimeter. That's it. I knew that voltmeter wasn't right, but I googled it and they exist.

Get a multimeter.

If it's anything like the '69 CIJ Mustang pickups both models are identical. Good ol' Fender.
