Other than reversing loops i can't justify the price difference at the moment.

it's more of the double pedal thing for me. sometimes i'm in my head and it makes it easier. i've borrowed my teacher's rc20 on several occasions, and my roomates rc2, and the rc20 is easier and less confusing to operate for me. plus i thought the layering sounded a bit less glitchy.

EDIT: AND REVERSE

I have not, but it seems almost all of the Vox solid state amps are pretty great.

i have a vox cambridge 15 (pathfinder predecessor) and it's tube hybrid. 1 12ax7, a celestion 10" and no reverb. muddy, but does sweet with a big muff.

saving up for one of these (if i can sell that damn thing ^):

cambridge 30 with 1 12ax7 and 2 celestion 12" and no reverb.

i have the cambridge 30r with the 10" speaker. they have a design flaw that affects the clean channel. it will drop in volume and become very harsh. it's a shame, as they sound dam nice. the drive channel is amazing.

never got it looked at, because i'd got a marshall MG100 shortly after the vox started going tits up. i still occasionally use the vox for dirt. back the day, i had the vox and the marshall linked via an a/b box. my crunch and cleans were the marshall and my lead sound was vox on full tilt with marshall for bottom end.

i still keep rocking this the most. i love the rat, don't know why i didn't get one sooner. the TS-9 makes the perfect lead boost/bit of extra dirt. apart from maybe an analogue delay or putting the phaser back on, I'm pretty happy. sound wicked with the mustang and strat, same with my les paul and melody maker.

iirc Mike did a demo of the ME-50. I remember being impressed with it as a multi fx pedal.
