Fender wakes up and smells the fuckin' coffee?

Talk about all other types of guitars. Jazzmasters and basses go here!

I spoke to a big UK guitar dealer earlier this week and they said the price drop was a thing Fender are doing in the US only! Which is a shame as if they dropped their prices in the UK, I might be another tele!

I paid a little over $900 after sales tax for my AV Strat in 2002, they're up to $1500 sticker for a scratch 'n' dent WITH the price cut.
Fender didn't do shit as far as I'm concerned. A tiny little reactive sale. It's like namechecking your black friends when someone calls your a racist. They're still hideously overpriced.

$500 for MIM standard
$832 for a scratch'n'dent MIM Classic Player strat
$1109 for brand new MIM Classic Player strat

Available in 3 easy installments up the asshole if you're interested.

I payed $250 for my MIM tele back in 2001 - so the price has doubled in 8 years. If a vintage guitar's price did that it would be impressive.
