EHX DMM Repair

Post by jamieb »

Has anyone ever had their DMM repaired and if so, who by? Any recommendations?

Mine has developed a (not uncommon, apparently) problem whereby it self-oscillates , overloads and generally goes nuts, even with Feedback & Level down at like 6 o'clock. There's allegedly some sort of trimpot(s) which can be adjusted to solve this, but you need to know what you're doing. I do not.

Thanks in advance for any help :o

Howard Davis is your man. He designed it, he can fix it. He can make it better.

This is a bit out of the range of my own abilities (you need a 'scope to adjust the trimmers) and I would recommend you use Howard.
