I have one of the new XO Micro Synths as well. I use it in a completely different manner than I used the Micro POG, being that it's monophonic and has the filter section. I really do like that the new POG has the Attack Delay that the Micro Synth also has. It's a nice feature when I'm using a guitar that has a shit volume knob for swells, like the concentric Danelectro knobs.dub wrote:
I just pulled the trigger on a micro synth.
was cheap though.
Two octaves down?
mmmmm.

it looks like the sound is a bit 'cleaner' due to the new processor and the 32bits instead of 24. that guy could spend 30 seconds more showing us the detune and attack functions. now we'll have to wait some more.
ok, here is an idea. When a new pedal is coming out that many people are interested, shortscale members should donate so we can purchase the pedal and be the first to do a proper demo. then the pedal would go to someone from the people who contributed with some kind of lottery. imagine for the pog2 for example, if 15 people were up for that it would be 20$ per person and 1/15 chance to get that in the end.
what do you think?

honestly? you want less n00bs on here instead of having to institute authoritatively draconian "entry hula-hoops?" stop making so many awesome demos then. & i guarantee you there will be less n00bs signing up spamming for half-a-hundo.riotshield wrote:it looks like the sound is a bit 'cleaner' due to the new processor and the 32bits instead of 24. that guy could spend 30 seconds more showing us the detune and attack functions. now we'll have to wait some more.

I think something along these lines would be really cool, but you'd never get people chipping in $20 on the off chance they might win it. Maybe chip in $2 each and then whoever steps up to buy one would be getting a $40 discount for going through the trouble of sending it to Mike to be demoed first.riotshield wrote:it looks like the sound is a bit 'cleaner' due to the new processor and the 32bits instead of 24. that guy could spend 30 seconds more showing us the detune and attack functions. now we'll have to wait some more.
