yea, if he's willing to let that go for $250 then it's a good deal. I'd put some different pickups in there, but that's just my 2 cents.

I'm all over it...as soon as he tells me where and when I can pick it up. When it comes to Craigslist I don't get too excited until its in my car on the way home.

Yes, ASAP! May let the hot rail slide for a bit until I can't stand it anymore. But the neck pickup has to be changed right away.

I'm really confused how replacing a mexican fender pup, with an epiphone explorer pup is an upgrade...

Some guy was selling a Gibson 335 for $650 yesterday. Not vintage, but still. I didn't even look at it because I knew it would be snapped up.

Just picked it up. First impressions are great. I'll give it a week or two to decide if I wanna flip it or not. Pictures to come.

Turns out the guy was the guitarist/vocalist of Johnny Socko. Not sure if that means a lot outside my neck of the woods but they were somewhat of a big deal. "Socko" is stenciled on the case. Kinda neat.

Did some research on this band "Johnny Socko"
Wikipedia wrote: Johnny Socko is an indie rock/ska band founded in 1990 in Bloomington, Indiana. They used to be on Asian Man Records, but have since started their own record label, Triple R Records. They were known as a band that toured heavily, having performed over 2,000 shows since their inception, but are currently on hiatus. They performed their last concert on New Years Eve 2002. One of their songs, "Full Trucker Effect" is used in its entirety as part of the introduction to the Bubba The Love Sponge show on Sirius Satellite Radio. The band takes its name from Johnny Sokko and his Flying Robot, a 1960s Japanese action television show.

Michael "Trout" Wiltrout, the group's former vocalist, has since formed The Leisure Kings with Sean Baker, as well as providing lead vocals for the band Mr. Sparkle. Joey Welch, the group's former guitarist, has since formed the Born Again Floozies and continues to work with the Las Vegas Body Snatchers.
