in my opinion I think the best teles are custom-builds/parts-guitars. I think mismatched assemblies of parts really suit the bare-bones nature of the tele.

The only answer to this thread is Classic Vibe Telecaster because it's a stunning guitar for the money, it's worth twice what it sells for.

i second the classic vibe. i've been hankering after a tele again. maple necked teles = FTW

i was tempted to order the xavier tele of GHS website, but would worry about shipping etc

note to self:steal mike's tele at doogfest :lol:

I may sell it at some point to incite a bidding war between you and benecol. I haven't played it in ages which is pretty ridiculous.
