what would be a better name

Post by kim »

for my ghostzilla ? it sounds lame
it's a ghost or phantom of an obese lizard or dinosaur

i'm going to try and vectorize this thing to start with since it's fairly simple, hope i won't get irritated and quit when i'm too stupid to figure it out lol it's way too sharp too

no thoughts on the name but are you going to be vectorising it by hand or doing it auto?

well i tested it in inkscape (free open source vector program).

came out perfect using the auto bitmap trace thing. since it's black n white lines it should do. it's when you've got sketchy pencil drawings and stuff that you have to do it yourself.

yeah , i'm going to get inkscape when i have some time to mess with it this evening, i heard good things about it supposed to be less of a confusing mess than illustrator

it's stupid but instead of scanning in sketches i just do the sketch, alter it, when i'm happy with it i go over the lines with a marker and pens and erase all the pencil lines so it's better lined when it's scanned. i put this in paint and saved it as a monochrome bitmap then back to jpeg haha
