Fuzz amplifies any noise, so best put that at the front.

Depends.

There is no "right" order.

Do you want all your delayed repeats to be the same dirtiness? If so, Fuzz before Delay. If you want the dirt to decrease on the more decayed repeats, then put after Delay.
Flanger is more prominent when used with dirt when it is before the Dirt.

You can flange your delay with your flanger after the delays or you can delay your Flanged notes with the Flanger before the delay.

i have found that the dirt boxes need to go first, but like mike said.
you want a clean delay sound that gets distorted, or a distorted sound that repeats.
i know it sounds wierd, but trust me, there is a difference.

in my set up i go, Guitar>Delay>modulation>fuzz and distortion then to the amp. I tried to have my delays at the end and my distortions first, but when i used delay and my muff at the same time everything just sounded flat and shitty, and the fuzz tone was completely lost. The way i have it set now gives the delay much more prominence in the mix, same with the modulation, things dont get lost anymore. and i can use my muff, mammoth, and delay all at the same time and it sounds great. Although i have heard this is the "wrong" way to set your effects. It works out really well for me.

well, obviously. can get good sounds either way, but nothing like a good echo fuzz.

+2 although the other way can be interesting at times...but it is a pain to mix in a PA or when recording...
