electric sitar and reactable.

i used to be huge in making electronic music. i have a lot of really cool shit like that, korg electribes, samplers, etc.

i recently sold this roland sp808 that had a sensor in it that when you enabled the effect, it had two axis that would receive movement from your hand. it was effectively a theremin, but you could use any effect with it.

i have a recording i made from sounds in a yahoo voice chat room (really gay, just went for the vox) and tweaked some really mad shit.

you could make a reactable with Max/Msp. Its such a great programming tool for music. I'd really like a Hammond Organ someday.

or an Ondes Martenot

Holy fuck, I really should have found out what a Mellotron was earlier- it's like Eels (and a million other bands) in a box. I won't even bother looking at prices..

I play banjo. Lap steel is my next thing - Rondo has a sweet one for $115.

I own various diatonic harmonicas (standard blues harps and extended range/tremolo), 2 melodicas and a '60s Magnus electric chord organ. I use them for horn and organ substitute parts even though they pretty much all sound like accordians.

My friend/ex-bandmate/current collaborator Geoff snagged a Hammond L-3 for like, $50. Down the street from my house too (he lives over 40 miles away). Was soooo jealous.

I want a pedal steel and a real Hammond organ w/Leslie and a double/upright bass, equally badly. If I had my own studio or something those are the first 3 things I'd buy.

I love it. The one in the pic isn't mine, mine has a silly graphic on the front instead of the Magnus plate and I have legs attatched at the mo, but it's the same model.

There's a Dulcimer laying around here that no one knows how to play or what to do with it. Last I heard it was headed for eBay, but that was like 4 years ago and it's still here, lol.

i don't really own anything really mad, just broken mainly.

i have a ukulele, which enjoyed much love at doogfest.
i have a hammond with a leslie speaker.
and one very battered, semi working mellotron M400.

i will get round to posting audio/pictures of the mellotron and hammond. i store them at my dad's house, as i don't have the space to keep them here and fully setup. next time I'm up there i will have a demo blitz.

i'd love to own something like a fender rhodes or a wurlitzer. if i got a wurlitzer, i'd just end up playing the logical song all day.

good luck finding one of those, they're rare as fuck.

personally i'd like an ondes martenot, lovely things. as it stands i have far too many huge old keyboards. my dad was trying to sell my hammond organ behind my back the other week, cheeky bastard.
