i think there's just something about the way the nitro finish wears, it just feels amazing. nothing wrong with glossy poly, i've got a fair few guitars like that, but there's something about the neck on my duo-sonic that's just... perfect. it's like wearing a pair of comfy old slippers, that's the best description i can think of!

the coronado's similar but nowhere near as worn.

Yeah, the necks on a vintage 60's will feel better than that. :D Well worn Nitro is the best feeling finish out there, IMO!

The MusicMaster/Duo (and Mustang) saw some gig use last night - talk about a great sounding and playing guitar!
