it a nice warm day and after getting the mustang all fixed up, i thought i'd dig out the rest of my electrics and get them (and me) to pose in the garden.

Wow! Some impressive guitars pictured in this thread. These are my three electrics. Nothing fancy, but I like 'em.

Prog, I love the emily SG. How is that thing quality wise?

Kestrel, what is the third guitar over? I want one thanks to you.

The cream coloured one? It's a Schecter Ultra.

they're not too bad. the emily strange is basically a the epiphone G-310. the pickups are a little muddy stock, fine for overdriven sounds. it's not a bad little guitar, i just haven't got round to setting it up for ages. ultratwin has the same model, which he's modded with GFS pickups and a bigsby (i think).
i was gutted though, i had one shipped over when they came out 4-5 years ago, cost me £350. you can now get them over here for £150

BC RICH BICH NJ CLASSIC SERIES

I've wanted a 'classic' BC for many years, the vintage stuff is ridiculously priced so this was the next best thing. I got it at a third of the usual cost.
It is a reissue of the companies flag model before the 'Class Axe' era when the production went to shit. It is 'neck through' full length of the guitar for ultimate sustain, beautifully made whether you hate the shape or not it is undeniable. The 3 a-side headstock is way more classy than modern BC headstocks, mother of pearl cloud inlays and ebony fretboard. The body is quilted maple, with walnut stringers and mahogany.
It is quite a weighty guitar but not quite as heavy as a Les Paul although it does sound like a Les Paul, classic PAF sound with a chunky Gibbo style neck.

You would also have a dislocated shoulder  its already quite heavy Jon, without adding another 4 square inches of timber. :\

Hahaha exactly like that hotrod, but a little less wobbly :D Ah it's all right, I bear the burden of having "Middlesbrough" written on my passport so a bit more weight wouldn't hurt.

they're well cheap if you can find them. gonna get a les paul Jr srcatchguard for it. neck plays really nice. it's back up to either the goldtop or mustang and my main slide guitar too.
