This is what I went for in the end.
White version to sit next to my black MBM Crunch Box.

wonder if you can email them and ask which version you'll get. getting a switched version would be icing on the cake.

Has anyone had the chance to compare the Box of Rock with the DLS side by side? I was thinking of getting a Vexter BOR and think the boost would be very handly but the demoes of the DLS sound really good to me. Can anyone describe the differences they have noticed?

Have you emailed them? I know they're very busy but I'm sure they'll reply...

Chances are you'll get a v2 though, however, which is good times.

Yeah I dropped them a mail last week - but no reply.
Maybe it got lost because first time I mailed they got back to me the same day and I got the impression that they were pretty good at getting back to people.

Ok got it.
1) It looks ace.
2) It sounds ace.
3) go to 1).

Tried both versions, the new one has a lot more balls, sounds like a boosted version of the original.
Is really clear and cutting, but not really that easy to get a lower gain sound out of it.
So I've switched it back to stock, and that's just perfect. Sticking the SHO through it is really nice.
Pics later.

And benecol, also got the nappies - thanks! :D
