I thought of that too Doog, right around when i first started playing guitar that ad was in almost every magazine, looooove that guitar.
There was an equally nice burgandy mist vintage Jag profiled in the back of GP ("Spotlight") mag a couple years back too... the article was about Jags in general, but they found just about the most awesome pic of one ever to lead it in with.

While for me it would be a toss up between that and Shell Pink, it would seem that your ultimate guitar is also my ultimate guitar, young Doog.

That is a cool guitar... how easy is it to wire the jb in the bridge of the jag ? do you have a schematic or clear photo by any chance ?

I'm probably gonna do this soonish but I'm always uneasy when it comes the electrical side of things as it always goes wrong.

cheers

That'd be amazing if you could go to such efforts...

since i started swapping necks around
this has become my main go to guitar while at home working on new songs.
its a squier Affinity Series Tele (special edition)

the neck went to my jazzblaster
and onto it went the conversion neck from my jagmaster
the jagmaster ended up with a 25.5" jagmaster neck. (from my noisemaster)

Image

still has stock neck pup.
bridge pup was replaced with a twang king.
