I was getting terrible string pull from the stock and Duncan's I'd tried. Couldn't get rid of it, plus the foam under my claws is pretty much fucked now so I got a custom guard for strat pups and got some Lace Sensors off ebay for a smaller magnetic field. It worked but they suck unless you play loudly or with drive, jangling at bedroom levels is really uninspiring. I'll probably be bothering people for help when I put some regular coils back in.

Mustang bridge was for ease of setup and reliability really - that took place before I'd seen any of Fran's setup vids on youtube, stock is at home and I'm at uni. The rest of it is 'cos I treat it like shit but it's a CIJ so it's not an endangered species at least.

hello, i'm new. i'm currently holding 23 electric guitars and two acoustics. yes, it's a little ridiculous. over the past year, after playing a whole mess of different guitars from a whole slew of manufacturers, i have really over the past year or so discovered my love for the shortscale.... i have seen many guitars come and go, but i mostly miss the three mustangs i have had in the past...
here's my fender/squier shortscales, and i hope this works...

i'll be busy the next half hour poloshing the supersonics, and i didn't realize how filthy they were until i took them out of the cases...

only mods have been on the supersonics, each have dimarzio super distortions in the bridge, and one of them has a dimarzio air in the neck and sounds amazing... the pickguards were painted black. one came out well, the other not so well, but i was gonna get new ones anyhow...

yes, i did paint those pickguards, the one that's all black came out perfect. the one with the white stripe around the edge came out a little rough. i know there's somewhere out there i can get pickguards cut for supersonics, and my plan is two get two of them done in the future... any suggestions on that without making them myself?

At the top right of your screen you'll see a link to a site called uploader.

You can follow the prompts to make an account there and it's very easy to upload photos using the site. The best part is it gives you the proper tags for the link once something uploads, so you can just copy and paste it right into the message body. Just try to keep photos at a reasonable size, I stick to 300x400 or there abouts.
