While that's an obscene amount of money, changing streengz on locking trems can be royal pain in the arse- more time consuming than anything. AND TIME IS MONEY, YEAH?

OH SHI-

Well people like Fran would know what they're doing - you're a mug if you have to pay £25 each time.

I suppose a pack of strings is a fiver, and it's at least an hours work if you're changing gauge and everything.

Still a rip off.

I can do Floyd Roses all day. It's a piece of piss, but Bigsbys are a nightmare. I once replaced the strings on my brother's Hodad. Took me ages and was very frustrating.

Key word: "once"

First time I saw a Bigsby I thought it was a toilet handle, completely misunderstood "flush against the body" too.

Little foam wedges make string changes on a bigsby a piece of piss.

I remember having a lot of trouble with the fact that the bolt for the string nut to catch on was on the underside of the barrel, so I couldn't get to it.

I know seriously. yeah, it's not exactly a stop-tail but come on, it's not that hard. you just gotta bend the ring at the end of the string so they stay on.
