My tele thinline

Post by timhulio »

Look at this! Ben (aworkoffire on OSG) has finished the paintjob on my thinline. He's done a lovely job I think.

The neck is Allparts tinted nitro, vintage narrow frets. Feels really nice. There's a Catswhisker Pickups mini humbucker going in the neck position with a lowish output tele bridge pickup, also by Catswhisker. Got white p/g, chrome knobs, electrosocket jack cup. Only thing I'm not too sure on is the tuners- I've got a couple sets of Gotoh Kluson-likes (the ones Fender use now), some Klusons with plastic buttons, and a set of vintage Schaller M6s which look great but maybe not for this guitar.

OOOOO... Verry nice! Do the white button tuners and pop some white witch hats on there.

It's a standard '69 Tele guard. Not the Warmoth variation, so there's no control plate:

That looks great Tim: I used to have a 69ri, they're great fun. Glad your guard is white rather than pearl.

Wow that looks ace! For some reason I thought it was archtop for a minute and couldn't fathom how you'd tidily cover the top routing D:
