I spend most of my time on my feet! But, if I smack my head on the ground and die after a nasty posse-jump fall, you can have it!

Here is a video clip from that gig:

just a joke. i don't think serfx likes me for some reason, but i could think of no other way...

the grain is a bit... weird... it has a really amber yellow color, and the grain has extremely dark lines in the grain. it looks like finish cracks, but upon closer inspection, they're just very dark lines in the grain. it does it on the back too. i'll have to post pics, because the neck has a 'v' in the grain pointing down, and stops about midway, and then another 'v' which points up, runs down to the base of the neck. so there's like an 'x' on the back of the neck in woodgrain. it's pretty wild.

thx all. i'm loving it. i rocked it pretty hard last night and broke the shitty lil' e that was on it, so she's ready for some XL110's! <3 single coils.

Fnally fitted my mint Jag guard. I had ordered it without any pup holes as I have P90s.
I freehanded the pup holes with a dremel, so they're not totally snug...but they will do.
Took quite a bit of adjustment around the neck pocket/control plates to get it to fit, but all done now.
Result isn't bad. Don't think I like it as much as the tort, but it's certainly not offensive.

This is my '66 Duo-Sonic that I picked up in Tokyo - the place I bought it from had 5 for sale!
It's my first short-scale guitar - great fun.

Oh HELLZ YES!!! That is absolutely classic!!

I've always had some "hops" - I don't know where it came from. I could dunk a regulation hoop with a men's ball when I was in 7th grade (so... 12 years old). I broke my leg the following year, and couldn't dunk again til I was 16! I think I have it back, though. Here is another from that night...

Damn my empty bank account - I really need me a blue Mustang/Duo/MM...

Not a Mustang - Duo Sonic. :)

Yeah, it was quite a thrill to play a few and test them out before settling on the Daphne Blue.
This is the place I went to: Simokura Gakki
Here's an example of what they have in stock: Duo Sonic

Yikes - thats what I get for staring at the finish and not the hardware! I've got one of each (64MusicMaster/66Duo/65Mustang) - but none in blue, unfortunately. I'm really jonesing for one, though! There is a great Daphne MusicMaster on Ebay right now in great shape (I really prefer beaters, though!). If I had the cash, I'd be all over it!
