Serfx... pulling up this thread to find out about your neck fit. I've got a teleguar project I' m about to start and I want a tele neck reeeeeeeaaaaaalll bad. But according to shad's extensive research it's a no go. Did you shave it at all or did it just fit right in? The body I'll be using is a jagmaster so if it worked for you, it should work for me, yeah?

there is a little bit of a gap, nothing that worries me, but yes it has a rounded heal on it.endsjustifymeans wrote:Serfx... pulling up this thread to find out about your neck fit. i was actually working on this guitar a little bit yesterday.
what i've found by using the tele neck is that i need to raise the bridge about 3mm or the strings sit right on the 15th fret and no trus rod adjustment has changed that for me yet.

I gotta find a tele neck for the bastard anywayz. I might get one of those strat paddle necks and try cutting a tele design out of it.
Betcha I fuck that up bad.

yeah... but according to shad's science a tele heal won't work in the jagmasters slot. Somehow Serfx defied the laws of physics, clearly. So it's almost gotta be a strat neck I guess... lamezors.St. Jimmy wrote:ha ha. lol. i have a tele neck from mightymite on my esquier right now...i like it...maple fretboard...so i recommend thems if you wanna try 'em out.endsjustifymeans wrote:No biggy duder.St. Jimmy wrote:OH SNAP! Excellent looking guitar! I really like the split guard idea. Very much so.
