since im in germany, ive been wondering...
what are some german guitar brands? i would do research myself, but in in GERMANY GETTING GERMAN'D

You've heard me enthusing before about the Framus Museum in Markneukirchen, but they have some really great stuff.

Ben, how do you find the Klira neck, and what scale is it? I'm forever threatening to buy one of their plastic topped models.

i really need to sort out the neck on my framus, it has too much relief. the truss rod nut's weird though. i'd like to play it more, it's a cool looking guitar.

The neck was completely fucked when I got it. I had to take off the old fretboard, sand about 3mm of twist out of the maple, then put a new fretboard on. The original fretboard was 24" scale: when I replaced it I just used a 25.5" slotted board and put the nut where the first fret was, so it's 24.069 now...like I notice the difference. It's pretty bendy, and almost uncomfortably thin. Sounds great, though.

Hey,you can buy a Les Paul Studio Vintage Mahogany's with P-90s. Gibson only sells them in Germany.

That's not due to amber switch tips or anything else silly. they had a sudden increase in traffic and the server did what ours seems to do quite often so they disabled guest browsing to allow the regulars to keep using the forum.
