That's a good call. I need something as a buffer.

Behringer make a Bass Sansamp Thing, I'll get that.

If I tried that it would just turn out like Homer's BBQ Pit.

I was looking at this but it's too fucking spendy. £130. Sounds great injected into a PA or recording system though.

I'll probably just buy one of these:

Yeah I could do, if it gets here before Doogfest and that. I'll see what fits in the motor.

THAT much? I got my HH bass combo for free.
Can't lift the sodding thing without donning my truss and mankini and putting rosin on my hands, though.. ;)
Doog wrote:I'd be wary of using it as a bass cab though- I've used guitar rigs as bass setups with no probs, but bass amp + guitar speaker could be very messy, them thangs don't like sub 100hz toneeez.
I've tried bass through an HH 2x12 sealed-back guitar combo and it farts at the bottom end, below about G. The 15" reflex bass cab is superb but needs to come with its own Jetsons levitator belt.

I'm not really bothered about that sort of thing. Mismatching stuff is alright.

Yet to build it, but it'll be on there, fo' sure.

Pancakes is on hiatus for the next month and a bit anyway while Doog goes on tour with Caution Horses and records his Doog record, so I have plenty of time.

Looking gooooood, Mike! Lemme know how the 1x12 fares, in comparison to our mutual friend, the 1936. Not really in the market currently, but good to know..

Will do. I'll give it a run through next week and see how it hangs with the band.
