hotrod - ha ha. yeah, i didn't put the fucking mets connection together until after i bought the paint. but i love the color combo enough, i say fuck it. also, the pics do take a long assed-time to load cuz i was too lazy to downsize the mothafuckas prior to uploadz0rz.
funnily enough, i yanked the SX neck off the esquire yesterday...it just wasn't do it for me...can't explain it...so it's back on the jagmaster, blue headstock and all. LOL so the tele neck that was on the jagmaster briefly is back on the esquire. i will probably end up painting the tele headstock blue, stripping the SX neck back down and painting it black...i'm a fickle fucker, ain't i? since i'm keeping the jagmaster at least for a while now, i might as well!Sparky wrote:Lookin' good, man, I really dig the color. I can't wait to see the finished guitar!
Oh, and I like what you've done to the SX neck! I'm surprised you didn't reshape the headstock before you painted it. Oh well, it gives it some schtick.
LOL!
I couldn't quite get comfortable with that neck. I wish I had two Jagmaster necks, one for the Jagmaster, the other for my Strat.
I don't really dig the humbucker sound anymore, and especially with that SX neck, I fell out of love with the Jagmaster. However, if I had kept it, I'd probably have sanded the fuck out of the back of the neck and been somewhat satisfied.
In any regard, good luck with those projects!

ha ha. i'm digging that jagmaster you sold me for the reason that i can split that humbucker in the bridge...i'm thinking about maybe dropping two p90s or something in there...but i'd prolly need someone else to do the wiring....because the esquier is butt simple, and i BARELY pulled that off.Sparky wrote:LOL!
