Tanglewood teh Kurtz telecaster

kurtsequipment.com have interviews with his guitar tech who said that he has a sunburst tele which he painted blue with house paint, also Fender sent him a new one with sunburst and double bound body with white scratchplate (which is why I'm guessing noirie said this one had the kurdtz) but he only had it for like two weeks before he shot himself and for most of that time he was in/out of re-hab and hiding in his old house. So I don't really feel that sunburst tele's with double binding and a white scrathplate = the kurdtz.
A website called rockstarguitars [I think...] had really good pics of kurt's second tele awhile back.
It was a '62 Custom re-issue, double-bound sunburst, but Earnie replaced the bridge with a gotoh 6-saddle humbucker-cut one and installed a JB, replaced the mint pickguard with a white one and installed a chrome-covered PAF. Kurt was using it on home demos he was making with Eric Erlandson and Pat Smear, and Earnie says Kurt told him it was his new favorite.
