trew, the egnatar amp head, or at least i think its the only modle they have is good, for an overdriven sound.
but thats it. its cannot get clean, i tried. it can surely push a 4X12 cab, but its.... i dunno, sounds like a bad rolling stones song where keif is sober and doesn't care about how his guitar sounds.

i had heard years ago that you should replace your tubes at least every 18 months, but thats if you consistantly play it, and thats comming from a groove tubes rep.

The amp made an epic explosion sound and shut off and smelled like burned rubber and one tube was glowing RED AS HELL.

so i gots my new bassmans about a week ago and per the add, it does power up but a few of the bits are burnt out.
mainly for the light, and the.... i dunno, the thing that makes shit loud,
i was able to use my meter to bypass it and get to work just like sublimedo's does, but i took it into uncle al's repair shop in indy a few days ago to be re-turned to stock and be re-tubed. he does great work and has worked on my ampeg, an old marshall i had and my pa system.
and he is the cheapest in the midwest(he will also trade work for batman collectables.) his real name is kevin.
