Your Perfect Guitar
Share your "perfect" guitar! Could be bone stock, could be a mix of every guitar ever made.
Plus this has probably been done before, sorry if It has.
So I've been planning on building a strat, I lobe the feel of the body and necks but I've got my own opinions on what makes a perfect strat.
Birdseye maple neck
ebony fingerboard
bullet truss rod
small strat headstock
graphite nut
graphite string tree
locking tuners with white buttons
vintage jumbo fretts
F neck plate
alder body
arctic white + nitro finish
SSS routes
vintage 6 hole tremolo bridge
5 springs
mint scratchplate
aged white covers and knobs
chrome jack plate
fralin pickups
master volume - 250k - treble bleed, pull for bridge on
master tone - 250k, .047f orange drop cap, pull for phase reverse
(2nd tone pot) gfs' 5-way preamp mid boost thing "loucile" style
usual 5 way switch
I really like this guitar on paper, it'll look like a run of the mill strat, but I really dig funky wiring oppurtunities that open up more sonic possibilities.
just thought it would be cool to see what everyones "perfect/ideal" guitar.

My '57 U1 with a different neck reinforcement (square steel tube with epoxied carbon fiber inside) and stainless steel frets. Also, a more enclosed control cavity so shielding could be used. And maybe a volute at the base of the headstock.
Really only durability stuff. I feel antsy taking it out sometimes, so I put a lipstick humbucker in my 335. It would be nice to have the real thing, though. I'll probably use my U1 reissue if I ever get it back.

I posted mine in the other thread, it's an awesome orange Bigsby'd Tele Custom with a strat single coil in the neck instead of a bucker, small precbs strat-stock and rosewood fingerboard, looks pretty cool, would imagine again anyday.
