How much did it cost to get the pickguard material, and where'd you get it? Also, would it be cheaper to trace the existing guard and make it yourself than have someone else make it for you?
Someday I might take you up on that offer if I get another one and horribly fail at making the pickguard.

The pickguard plastic was pretty cheap, about £15 if I remember correctly. Make sure you buy enough to make a couple of guards. One tiny mistake and the whole thing is ruined (as I discovered). You might have to chisel away a bit of the side of the routes too. Nothing too major but the Jag pickups wont fit otherwise.

Alright, thanks again for the suggestions. I'm no craftsman by any stretch, so I should get a lot of extra material just in case. For the pick ups, I was thinking of going for the Seymour Duncan 1/4 Pound Jag ones or the Duncan Vintage for Jag, any one have any experience with them? Suggestions are always welcome. I have to agree, that Super Sonic looks damn fine.

Thanks for the feedback.
Do the quarter-pounders allow for pickup covers? I think they would make it look more streamlined in the end.

They wont just slide on like a normal singlecoil, but according to robroe if you just push that shit on there it works just fine.

Thanks again for the feedback. So, basically if I get the quarter pounders and covers and force them in the covers it will work? Hmm, interesting.
