Ok so this guitar shop near me has one for sale for 400 with busted reverb and no footswitch. Cosmetically it's pretty mint. What do you guys think?
I played through it for a while and it sounded good, though I didn't really have a chance to crank it in the shop. The vibrato sounded good as well.
I'm not sure how much these are really worth, but I'm sure I could talk the guy at the shop down a bit on the price. He said he was going to try to get it fixed, but I'd almost rather have it with a busted reverb for less dough.

I got my solarus, which i'm pretty sure is the same amp but with a mid boos switch for 450 and regret NOTHING. The reverb is usually a burned out reverb transformer, which I guess happens alot with those. I got it fixed for $50 or something like that.

I keep an eye out for Sunn stuff around my neighborhood (Seattle) and that's on the lower end of the price range I see them go for. The lowest I've seen was my 100s which I got for 250 but It's pretty beat up. $400 seems like a decent enough deal as you'd have to constantly troll craigslist or get really lucky to find one for less. I love my Sunn, if it makes a difference.
