yea, that's totally cool with me. anyway, in that diagram it looks like your talking about the lower drawing? (since the upper one is just a normal tele) so minus any crack fueled additions to this layout (=P) it's basically;

Pos.1: Bridge w/tone, Pos.2: Bridge+Neck w/tone, Pos 3: Neck no tone

that's cool. I've thought of similar ideas for the strat (why it doesn't have a tone control on the bridge pickup is beyond me, as that is by far the most useful position for one).

Yup. Different capacitors in Pos 1 than in Pos 2. And the boost circuit. You can find random schems on the internerds.
