i think the red tort on black with those pups looks gorgeous

any one else have pictures of this color combo?

That's the first picture like that I've seen. It grates a little because it so obviously used to be white but I do quite like the black.

If I wasn't so sentimentally attached to the blue/green-ness of my Mustang I would have done this a long time ago.

It's the only colour I will entertain refinning my Duo-Sonic in. Black and Tort is the hotness.

I like it, its possibly my favourate color combo hence my JS. It would look better with the switches matching the pup covers too, same as mine would...

How would you go about this? I know this is old ground but can you respray directly onto an existing finish providing it is sound?

Not really a good idea, you should generally rough it up and prime with a bunch of sanding before doing any colour.

Of course.
Refinishing is the torment of my life, the wood and build part is fine but i just dont have the patience for finishing.
