24-inch scale necks with custom headstocks?

I might need one with an ultra minimal and small, straight 3+3 headstock.

I was under the impression that Warmoth will not make custom 24-inch scale necks. They used to not do custom headstocks for the Mustang/Jaguar necks, along with binding and a few other things, I think.

Is this the case?

As for Allparts, I do not see any 24-inch scale necks with a 3+3 headstock on that page; or did I overlook? I guess I might be willing to settle for 24.75, if the neck were ultra thin.

You could ask RobOG or that other guy who made his own neck to build you one, but I dunno if they have the time/will.

Any idea why they will not do custom work for the Mustang/Jaguar necks? I never understood that.

No idea. Possibly because they are snobs and deem shortscales to be student guitars?

Other than RobertOG, THIS GUY is the one I was thinking of that could build you a custom neck. But like I said, I have no idea if either of these guys would have the time/ will to do such a thing.

Yeah, you best believe I'm gonna hit them up for the same thing once I get the capital to do so.

If I ever get the capital to do so.

everything there is cnc. if you ask them to do something custom they bitch and moan, but if you pester them enough they'll reprogram their cnc and charge you a fortune.

Oh, okay. I guess that makes sense.

I would just think that doing basic things like adding binding, block inlays, or custom headstocks would probably benefit them greatly in the long run.

Does it also have to do with their licensing agreement with Fender? For instance, they reserve quartersawn maple for the Fender head shapes. You can't even get a Jackson headshape in quartersawn and that's FMIC.

Apparently USACG does not want my business.

It's been two weeks since I sent an email, and I have received nothing.

Is this typical of them? If so, I'd rather not deal with them at all.

I would look elsewhere with that kind of customer service.
