Man those are nice and I've wanted a orange bass for a while, but that price is insane.

absolutely. Saw a Stang just like this here in Berlin for some 900 € last week ... Sure there are no other 3,4 guitars sold together eith this Pair?

Fuuuuuuuuu
The two of them sitting next to each other like that, its like they took a wet dream right out of my brain. Sadly $6,500 is ah, slightly out of my price range.

what, a vintage comp orange for 900 euro? that seems extremely reasonable. that's about the same as i paid for my blue '72.

that, and I seem to remember him regaling us with tales of years past when stangs were common cheap pawn shop finds.

You might remember me telling you the
least I've paid. It was for my favorite blue one and it was $350. At that time a standard Mustang could be found for one to two hundred any day of the week. If my memory is right, my first Mustang ('64 Dakota red w/Fender case and hang tag) was $150.
Now, the most I've spent was $1,800 for a comp orange and the most my girl has spent was $2,000 on another comp orange.
I think all of my other guitars were either well under five hundred or somewhere between $500 and $1000.
Of course this money was spent over the course of years, so I've never felt the financial hit, but I guess when I add it all up it's no chump change.

That's the one and it's hands down my second favorite guitar too.

I've seen pictures of that guys guitars and they are really nice. I think I read that he paid like 70 bucks for the guitar, or something crazy like that, in the early 80's. I could be wrong though.
