I wasn't a fan of the neck on my SX strat, but after putting the Jagmaster neck on it, it became my #1 guitar. I don't get along with JUMBO FRETS.

squier quality or better in many cases. Don't fall for the name game noob, this is how much Chinese guitars should cost. Look up reviews sx is solid.

there are 3 folks in town that have sx instruments, all of them are basses oddly enough.
one fellow got a 70's styled jazz bass(BADASS!)
another guy got a p-bass, and a jazzbass, and "fenderized" the headstocks(badass...)
another fellow has a mini jazz bass, im not sure of the scale, the quility is good, but the action blows, the neck needs tweaked, new strings, intonation and the board needs oiled, but thats from him, not from sx.
overal, they are most definitly worth the money.

The mini basses are 30" scale. I'm going to get a pink p-bass short scale from them once I'm happy with my guitar setup. IE... never.

yeah, i skipped over that one i guess. they have the sjm's like all over their shitty designed site. fuck that site. the homepage is great, until you can't sort through all the strats with humbuckers/bolt on LP's.

interesting tidbit for you since you have that mod in mind.

Those jazz bass bodies are already routed for p-bass pickups. They use the same body for the pirate bass.

Saw under the pickguard shots of them on HC.
