These Duo Sonic Reissues are neat, small "children's guitars" :D I don't really miss mine, though.

The whole construction is sound-wise not perfect for my needs. It has what I guess you call a pool routing in english (we call it "Badewannenfräsung"). Combined with the anodized pickguard, that adds a lot of muffled resonance to the pickups. It is actually a hollow body in which the air cannot circulate, and it sounds nearly the same whatever pickups you drop in. and that again combined with that bridge PU position which steals treble ... well, if you are looking for a light, a little old-fashioned looking shortscale to beat the shit out for little money, it is accurate though. I gigged it 3 or 4 times, and nobody complained

No, in my Squier CV there was only one big hole under the pickguard ... is that a Squier CV on your pic? Then they made differnet versions of them.

notice in that picture, they had plenty of room on the CV body to move the pickup down. yet they still put it a mile away from the bridge.

Dude, I hvent had a ton of time with the guitar through an amp, but I think if the bridge PU was closer to the bridge it might be too trebly. I mean, this thing sounds like a razorgun as it is.

I wish. I'm pretty sure I lost that drummer to mental illness.
