the one numbered 0 on this image looks nicest to me. possibly because it's the most traditional looking and i'm a stuffy old codger, i dunno...

"0" on the first one.

Racing stripe version of that might be cool but (no offense meant!) I'm not sure i could say for sure without a more realistic picture.

No offense taken, photoshop and I don't get along particularly well.

I'm starting to like the look of the traditional shapes, but I'm still thinking that this guitar (1 of 2) will get a shredder headstock and a trem and then the next one (2/2) will get a fender shape (either the CBS or the pre-CBS strathead) and a hardtail. And also a tobacco burst. And a natural-mask binding if I can swing it.

Culled the herd a bit. Got rid of the racing stripe and the headstock shapes I know I'm not going to use.

Added the white finishes after remembering how much I like the looks of the Adrian Smith signature Jackson.

If it ends up being white it'll be mahogany or alder. Solid cover over korina would be a waste.

OK. More or less decided. First guitar, the screamer, will now move to the funding phase. After it's built and rocking I'll start in on the growler or twanger or whatever.

The first one, EMGs. The second one, either wide ranges or some sort of covered PAF.

I think you should just go balls deep 80s and give it a matching headstock as well.

This is the most I've wanted a Mustang in a while. I'd buy that if I had the chance.

For 80s, would the back of the neck also be white? Looks good. Adrian Smith's san dimas just looks so dang good with the maple headstock that I'm tempted to keep it that way (its product page)

Also, stripes?

More stripes:

Also fuck the onboard mid boost. I'm ditching the batteries anyways so I'll just go with middy pickups instead. More "organic" maybe.
