I recently saw a classified where a guy offers a Jag-stang for the equivalent of USD 2000,-!
Isn't that totally unrealistic? Or have they become collectible?
To me it's just an incredibly ugly guitar... but what do I know?

Going rate for a Jag-stang these days?

Sellers have been trying it on for well over a year now. I've seen them listed at £650.00 (ROLF) but i've also seen them sell for under £250.
The JS is a weird one, on the right day you can catch a very good deal.
Cyclones and Toronados seem to be going down the same route as well. I saw a Toronado the same as mine sell at £305 last week with 6 bids yet there is one on bay this week at £225 'buy it now' and no one has touched it

Before the recession I remember seeing mint condition blue 95/96 Jagstangs peak on eBay for $900-$1000.
All other Jagstangs were going for anywhere between $450-$800 depending on color, case options and condition.
Now they seem to be going for $400-600 (95/96'ers included).
