Is this a strat/tele case? Dimensions are:

the imprint on th e lid side suggests a 5 string bass...

I'd guess pedal steel too 'cause the bridge is so close to the edge of the case and the headstock looks funny and small.

I dunno. I'm on the side of lap steel because of the tone knobs being very close to the bridge as well.

look at the left side (top). those are clearly side mounted, topside tuning pegs.

not deep enough....though you're right about the shape of the imprint...my guess is that it's a bass case used as a lap steel case or summit.

okay, now that i'm REALLY looking at it, it's probably lap steel, given the semi-boxy cut out of the case "bottom"...but it's for a more shallow lap steel i think.
