dudes, that tuner is noisy as fuck (esp with any sort of drive on). if i want to mute, i go volume pedal up. mutes it and you don't get the buzzing from the tuner. 'twerkz.
also, that ts7 is my new (old) favorite dirt. it sounds so good, and never really gets too trebly like my ds-2. i'm wanting to pick up a pro co rat soon, though.
but yes, for the $20 you could find one of those ts7's for, it's definitely worth it.

New board with Rob's Phase 90 on. Is a really nice pedal, and interestingly different from the Small Stone.
Phase 90 is a lot more subtle when used on he clean channel or amp distortion, but stick a dirt box in front of it and it's a completely different beast, where as the Small Stone is pretty in your face the whole time. Anyway, I like it and need to give it a proper run with the band.
TU2 - Bad Horsie - SHO - DLS - "lamp's crunchy distortion" - Phase90 - Carbon Copy - RC2 w/ momentary switch

looks really nice, thom. it's very different depending on it's place before or after dirt. the effect is more noticeable when you put it before your dirt, but you get a little more hiss when dirt and Ph90 on together.
it's weird sometimes, looking at boards thinking "that used to be mine"

I've not played a lot of analog delays, but in my opinion, it sounds really good, both analoge and loop functions, so for me, it's really convincing.
Maybe i'll do a little video or a little review in the near future, to show how it sounds... But it will be too little 'cause i don't wanna make you laugh listening how i speak english.

another gig this weekend, went over pretty good. figured i would dumb it down a little for this one since it was a 4 song thing, kinda lame but it was still fun
did the carbon copy over the memory boy this time for because the delays of the carbon copy cease after it is bypassed, while the memory boy continues to delay even if it is bypassed. that was causing problems when i had it self oscillating, bypassed it, and engage it and hear that it was going bananas and scared the hell out of people. rock and roll
ALSO, last gig was played through our frontman's father's bassman! sounded pretty sweet and loved the box of cake's boost [SHO] that was the majority of my sound.
have a tube amp in my sights btw, in the process of saving. HINT, its a 50ish watt 1x12

nothing exciting has changed, but i finally got round to repairing my kinsman board.
the fabric base of these boards is shit, it comes away when you gently lift a pedal off. after sticking it down twice with carpet adhesive, i came up with a better solution.
i cut a 12mm thick piece of mdf to the size of the base and secured it with no more nails. it's a very tight fit, so the no more nails is just there for extra security. then i cut and tacked/glued a carpet tile to the top. now the pedals will not move and the fabric wont lift off. recommend this to people like noirie who have this same pedalboard.

it's made the world of difference. plus i've secured the monkey metal catches with metal epoxy.
